LEATH CITY. In sections 20 and 21, Union Township. Plat filed in 1902.


LEMONT. In the southwestern part of section 31, Grove Township. as shown on maps of 1875-80. It never got farther then a town on paper.


LINWOOD. In section 3, summit Township, as shown on maps of 1905.


McKINLEY. Listed in U.S. Postal Guide of 1900. Post office in Adair County but not found on maps of that period.


NANITO. In section 16, Grand River Township. Post office 1900-03.  


PRUSSIA. In section 14, Prussia Township. Post office, 1900-03.


PRUSSIA CENTER. In section 27, Prussia Township, as shown on maps of 1881.


SUMMERSET. The orginal name of the present town of Fontanelle. Platted in 1855 and name changed to Fontanelle in 1857.


VINO. In section 24, Richland Township. Post office, 1873-75


WAHTAWWAH. In section 13, Grove Township. Post office, 1851-54. Name changed to Holaday's (see above) and location changed.
